EXPERIENCING the Tarot 4 OF MATERIALS
She looks out at the camel below. It’s saving its water and she smiles, for she understands this beautiful beast and its desire to conserve for the future. Safety. Back-up. The secret stash of ‘I’m okay.’ A petal falls from her rosebud purse that she has been carefully holding close, and the realization that money comes and goes sets in, and she panics, momentarily. “But I have saved more than I spend,” she reminds herself, “I am safe.” And the Muse of the Four of Materials sends her a small pulse of comfort from the heavens, “You have the whole Universe inside of you, and you can build security at any time. It’s never too late.” The Muse reminds her that she is always safe, and that material extras are nice to have, build and watch. “I should check on them now,” she mutters. The Muse nods, and wraps a warm blanket around her shoulders, and whispers, “You can. But you will be safe, regardless. The earth is a hospitable place for you, sweet child. Let go of the fears that you clutch so tightly in that purse of yours, and step eagerly into your generosity. In this, you will find true safety.”

PATHWORKING
VISUALIZATION
You are sitting on the balcony at the top of a large home, thinking about your savings. You have more than you will ever need. You look down, and see others living in a village below who are living humbly. They are singing. Dancing. Happy. See what advice they have for you.
CREATIVE PROMPT
What would life look like if your currency was roses? Or smiles? Or some other energetic barter? Write about or draw this reality, and the lessons that you would glean from it.
