THE 7 OF INSPIRATION TAROT MESSAGE

KEYWORDS

being attacked, a need to defend your position, other people’s negative opinions or scarcity mindsets, a need to pay attention to your own energy, internal vs. external validation

CREATOR MUSING

On the way to success, you will serve as a mirror for those who don’t believe in their own success yet. If you show up fearlessly, those who fear showing up may be triggered. In this way, creators are activated. Sometimes we are activated through the mirror of what we want, and sometimes through the mirror of what we don’t. Be open to being the mirror for others on their path, even if that means being the thing that gives them angst along the way. How do you model or learn from those around you? What activates your fiercest light?

WORD PROMPT

Obligatory bravado

EXPERIENCING the Tarot 7 OF INSPIRATION

After gaining the sunlight and spark of seeing her dream come to life, the 7 of Inspiration finds herself with clouded vision and a heavy heart. Those around her have attacked her success. Her wins. Her path. While some simply don’t understand her unique glow, others completely disagree with it, and they begin to push her down. Some can feel her energy of success and they covet it. Dislike it. Some have mindsets about success that confuse how they feel about her with their own fragile feelings about what they don’t have. She wavers, feeling it all. Listening. Taking it in. And as she does her light begins to dim. It sputters as she allows the external jabber and prattle to enter her core. Much too quickly her wounds open as they push and heave at her from below. Then she remembers that rising up can sometimes mean others will not agree. She settles. She breathes in. She fills her heart with joy. And she digs into the earth. ‘No… I will not be dimmed. I deserve this success.’ She defends her spark and she reaches out in love, pushing all external darkness away.

“If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, will answer you: I am here to live out loud.” – Émile Zola

PATHWORKING VISUALIZATION

(Especially good to use in times of difficulty.) Find yourself in the dark, unsure of what’s around you. Take time to breathe in your light, allowing it to trickle down from the Universe above. Ask the 7 or Inspiration what you need to shine brightly. And when you’re ready, open your heart, your mind – your soul – and push out your inner light, shining brightly in the darkness. Illuminate the path in front of you.

CREATIVE PROMPT

Make a love wand to defend yourself from any oncoming psychic attack or crappy energy. It can be made of anything, but I prefer a stick that’s found in nature. Go for a walk with the intention to find your protective wand. Sand it or stain it, decorate it, paint it, add buttons or baubles– whatever feels joyful and good to you. This wand can be swept around a room to infuse it with thick walls of love that will block the bad vibes in troubled times.
