THE 6 OF MATERIALS TAROT MESSAGE

KEYWORDS

the flow of abundance, giving and receiving in equal measure, being charitable, generosity, accepting help from others, power and balance, side-stepping a miserly mindset

CREATOR MUSING

Our resources in life are time, money and energy. Which one do you give away freely? Which one do you hold too close? Which do you need to say YES to more often?

WORD PROMPT

May it rain roses

EXPERIENCING the Tarot 6 OF MATERIALS

The Muse whispers, “Sacred mirrors are all around, and when the energy flows in perfect balance, all parties are served, loved, found, helped, seen, appreciated and empowered.” She reminds us that we live in a duplicity that strives to distribute resources (and power!) between the states of having and having-not – and between gifting and being gifted. She shows you that needing to receive and needing to give aren’t all that different, besides your perception of who you think you are when you are standing in either spot. Imbalances of energy can arise from holding on to things too tightly (stagnation) and not being able to hold on to them at all (too fleeting.) And both can stem from a mindset that’s rooted in scarcity. “Give freely… share…. open your gentle generosity, and give of your time, energy and money.” From the simplest kindnesses from strangers that we receive to the most generous of charity we offer, the health of an energetic system takes all of our giving and receiving into account. From a bird’s eye view, the energy should look like a balanced river. You can choose to share or to ask for assistance at this time, as this Muse reminds you that the flow in and the flow out should be consciously created.

PATHWORKING VISUALIZATION

Imagine that you are the roses in this card, flowing in a figure 8 between the two people. One who gifts and one who receives. Notice how the energy rises and bubbles as you continue to flow. Notice how wonderful both people feel.

CREATIVE PROMPT

If you find yourself with the ability to give, write a letter to yourself from a stranger who is being gifted. If you find yourself in a position of need, write a letter to yourself from a stranger who is learning how good it feels to give. Notice how heart-opening both positions are.
