Hum-drum. She sits in a giant energetic cup – her fourth cup – her best cup – but whenever she counts her blessings she only sees three. Other people have told her she needs four to be happy. Other people have four goblets that she can clearly see. And here she is, stuck in a life of having only three. She sighs, hoping she will someday find a fourth. She closes her eyes and asks the Muse to help her find her magic blessings. No answer. Nothing but the waves. She relaxes, giving up the quest for now, and quiets her mind as she listens to the waves lap up against…. lap…. lap.. lap…. what is it that they are lapping up against? She hears giggles in the distance. The Muse laughs and bubbles, and she changes the sunlight just a little… just enough to clearly illuminate the fourth cup in the glistening rays. ‘Daughter, you are the fourth cup. You are the blessing. You are living within your own blessing, you just need to change your perspective to see it.
