EXPERIENCing the Tarot High Priestess
She sits with one foot in this realm, and the other within the depths of the cosmic field of information. Hers is a throne made of ocean and sand… conductors of ancient wisdom and the divine mysteries that are passed down to those who seek their messages with an open heart. She reaches up at the moon, and holds its pulsing energy in her palms for a moment. A warm glow falls around her as she waits, listening, for the messages from Source. In strange tongues, she begins to spill messages forth from the ethereal world. She speaks divine wisdom… the secrets of the Universe, and suddenly you understand that she is reminding you that all are welcome to listen as deeply, and to tune into their own subtle energies. These messages from Spirit are gifts that she offers to all who meet her. Your third eye stirs. She asks you to take some time to listen. And she knows that your messages from beyond are with you right now, and that they will be loud. Prophetic. And show up in dreams and in your mind’s eye.
Go for a walk along the beach of the liminal where the High Priestess lives. Imagine what it feels like to live in this boundary of hers, between this world and the next. Spend some time in these waters and listen for your messages. They will arrive to be downloaded and translated. Keep notes of what you see.
• Collage your third eye to life. Find a magazine or some photos to cut up and make a collage of many eyes. What do you see in the depths of these windows, when you remove the faces that accompany them? What do they whisper to your soul?
• If you want to connect with your psychic or intuitive mind, try water scrying. Simply look into a dark bowl of water (with candle or moonlight is best!) and see what shapes you notice. What could the shapes represent? And how could they connect to your question? (Be creative here!) Make ripples and seek metaphor. The intuitive mind will need your creative translation. It’s okay to feel like you’re ‘making it up’ when you start. Trust your gut.
